There has been a Presale site set up on Modlife. It has a list of dates and when the presale starts. About half of them start tomorrow at 10am, and the rest on June 3rd.

No new blink record till NEXT YEAR?

In a Modblast last night Tom was asked if he knew the month in which they'd be putting out the blink record to which he responded "Not yet.... Next year sometime..."

Things regarding blink you should be aware of:
-Blink 182 isn't going away after this new album/tour
-Him and Mark make fun of old articles relating to their "fighting"
-He records in LA once a week w/ blink and in San Diego once a week
-Blink may sound like angels a little bit
-They are throwing around album titles
-He is going to balance the two bands out
-Mark and Travis are into the idea of getting a blink modlife
-If you're signed up for an AAA account then you might get the blink account free
-The blink tour will come before the new blink album
-Every song he has played on modcam that he has been working on.. is blink
-They have been getting along amazingly well. The communication/respect is
better than ever.
-Travis is healing great
-Tom is pretty sure plus 44 is dead RIGHT NOW. He says wether they pick it back up
later down the line is up to Mark and Travis.

blink-182 obviously hard at work...

Due to the lack of blog posts in the past couple of days, it's evident that blink-182 are hard at work recording their new album. Mark hasn't updated his blog since the 12th February (3 days ago) and the only thing Tom has blogged about is the next Modcast where he'll be talking about the blink-182 situation to all of the worried Angels & Airwaves fans and the eager-to-know blink fans.

There's also been a little speculation over Angels & Airwaves. People are in doubt that they will break up - and they aren't sad about it - neither am I. As many have said though, I very much doubt AVA will break up, due to the amount of money put into that band by Tom.

As for +44, I think it's safe to say that they are done. We've heard nothing about +44 for pretty much a year. I am slightly saddened by this, as +44 was my favourite out of the two 'side-projects' but as long as blink-182 release an amazing album (as I'm sure it will be) and tour the world (as I'm sure that's what planned) then I am happy. I doubt that this will be the last blink-182 album, but based on what Tom says on Modlife - we'll have to wait and see.

blink-182 scheduled for Modlife - update

It seems that blink-182 will be joining Modlife. Justin Goldberg (a Modlife employee and very reliable source) updated his Twitter page with 'Modlife: Blink-182 coming soon'. What are your thoughts on this? I was always hoping they wouldn't do this, but I guess it was inevitable.

Angels and airwaves fans hate blink-182 this much?!

Tom's "Biggest Fans" are lashing out against him for bringing blink-182 back but the big question is WHY? Blink-182 is the better band and that's not an opinion, that is a fact! Here's just one of the comments his adoring/money giving modlifers has
left him regarding this situation:

"So I love how the point of this is to just inflate the situation even more. I really hope you're getting off on all this drama, you sick fucker. Try growing the balls to make an actual statement, instead of just putting a gag order on everybody until the AVA modlife subscription renewers go through. Or, better yet, why don't you just TELL Travis and Mark how much attention you can get off of modlife? I'm certain you've demonstrated it enough by now, they're more apt to believe. Well...actually...that's if anybody can believe you anymore. I'm certain THEY can though, I mean they only wrote a song about you...wait...what were some of those lyrics? "You swore you wouldn't lose, then lost your brain"? No, that can't be right. I've gotta be wrong somewhere. Maybe it was "This isn't just goodbye. This is I CAN'T STAND YOU." Either take the gag order off, forfeit a tiny bit of your paycheck, or grow a set and make your own statement. Because just riling all of us up, although is VERY ENTERTAINING to YOU, is not the most reassuring of matters for the rest of us.--who are wondering just how far you kicked out David, Matt, and Atom to the curb. I don't even know where to begin with how fucked up and wrong that is. I didn't know somebody could hate THAT MUCH!
I also don't know if people like me are hypocrites for thinking this is ridiculous. If Tom decided to close the casket on Angels and airwaves and stick to just blink, then later decided to drop blink and re-form angels and airwaves would you blink fans react strongly in a negative manner? I know I would, not to the extent of that fan I just quoted but I'd still be irate.

However, what it really comes down to is,

A. Hardcore angels and airwaves fans are nuts
B. Blink-182 is back and there isn't a damn thing they can do about it.

Tom posted a new blog on his website titled "I'M HERE AT THE LA STUDIO NOW...."

In it he states "Just made it here ..... It's all ok... I'm here..... Alone....

Looks like blink is gonna get some work done today! It's my guess Tom is recording with both Angels and Blink at this time, switching from his studio for angels, to the studio in L.A. for blink. We saw that Mark was in Tom's studio last night so that could be a sign that Mark is totally supporting Tom's Angels and airwaves deal, which would be great!
